Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Maglode ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the MAGLODE application (the "Game"). We built the Game so that it needs nothing from you beyond the taps you make on the screen. This policy exists to say so clearly, and to describe the limited information that Apple — not we — may process when you download the Game.

By using the Game you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

Interpretation and Definitions

• Game means the MAGLODE application for iOS.
• Device means the iPhone or iPad on which the Game is installed.
• Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.
• Local Save Data means the progress the Game records on your Device — best banked run, deepest seam, best single hit, longest chain, which modules you have discovered and equipped, and your audio, grab-assist, haptics and tutorial settings.

Data We Collect

We collect no Personal Data. Specifically, the Game does not collect or transmit:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or postal addresses
• Account credentials — there is no account system of any kind
• Contacts, photos, microphone or camera data
• Precise or approximate location
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA) or device fingerprints
• Usage analytics, crash telemetry, or behavioural profiles
• Payment or billing information — the Game contains no purchases

The Game requests no system permissions. It does not use the network at all; it will run in Airplane Mode from first launch onward.

Local Save Data

Local Save Data is written to the Game's own storage area on your Device using standard iOS storage. It never leaves your Device through the Game. It contains no Personal Data — only game statistics and preferences.

If you have iCloud Backup enabled in iOS Settings, Apple may include this data in your device backup. That backup is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours, and is not visible to us.

Deleting the Game deletes all Local Save Data. There is no copy anywhere else, and progress cannot be recovered by us.

How We Use Your Data

Because we receive no data from you, we do not use, analyse, profile, or make any decisions based on your data. Local Save Data is used solely by the Game on your Device to restore your progress and settings the next time you open it.

Sharing Your Data

We share nothing, because we hold nothing. We do not sell, rent, trade, or disclose any information about you to advertisers, data brokers, analytics providers, or any other third party.

The Game embeds no third-party SDKs for advertising, attribution, analytics, social sharing, or crash reporting.

Information Apple Processes

When you download the Game from the App Store, Apple processes your purchase or download in accordance with Apple's own privacy policy. If you choose to share diagnostics with developers in iOS Settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymised crash reports that contain no Personal Data. We have no way to link such reports to any individual, and we do not attempt to.

Retention of Data

We retain no data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete or expire. Local Save Data remains on your Device for as long as the Game is installed and is removed when you delete the Game.

International Transfers

No data about you is transmitted from your Device by the Game, so no international transfer of your data takes place.

Your Privacy Rights

Privacy laws in many regions — including the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, and the CCPA/CPRA in California — grant rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of personal data, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, port, or delete on your behalf, and we have never sold or shared personal data. Children's Privacy

The Game is suitable for a general audience and contains no chat, no user-generated content, no social features, no advertising, and no purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), because we collect no personal data at all. The Game is fully compliant with COPPA on this basis. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal data, contact us and we will investigate.

Security

No data about you is transmitted or stored on our systems, which removes the most common categories of privacy risk entirely. Local Save Data is protected by the iOS application sandbox and by the device-level encryption iOS applies when your Device is locked with a passcode.

This website may link to external sites we do not operate — for example the App Store. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we ever change how the Game handles data, we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes for the version that introduces them. Continued use of the Game after a change means you accept the updated policy.
